Meet the team: Francesca Centazzo

Portland Bologna Sister City Association is delighted to introduce you to one of our newest board members, Francesca Centazzo. Born in Maniago, Italy, in the province of Friuli Venezia Giulia, she moved to Portland in 2012 to attend the University of Portland.

While looking for ways to stay connected with the Italian community, she found the Portland Bologna Sister City Association and joined the board in 2023. When she’s not helping people buy homes as a mortgage loan officer at Unitus Credit Union, Francesca loves knitting and crocheting and hanging out with her two cats, Luna and Dino.

In addition to Italian and English, she’s also fluent in Spanish, which she started studying in college because it reminded her so much of Italian.
